Default Apathy

Reading all the comments about Wrexham fc it gets to me that we are losing the club fans not going to renew season ticket while this bunch are in charge, never going again it goes on and on,and I worry that this team that I have supported for 60 years will be gone forever and it would be a disaster. I agree with all comments about the board they are a disgrace but we are stuck with this lot and it seems there's know way out to get rid. Is there a way for a mass membership drive so we can all attend the AGM as this is the only way to oust them from the power ego that the board are driven by.

I'm sure there is a lot of common sense here but I simply can't be bothered to reply.

Apart from the Radio Wales caller have any other individuals stated an intention to try for the Board ?Now surely would be the time.Ideally should be 1 strong contender against all current board incumbents-otherwise vote could be split with the current unmoveables staying on.Would compare to Anglesey last election when Tories won due to anti Tory vote split between Labour and Plaid-combined Labour and Plaid more than Tories.

What's killed my and my families passion, and created apathy, is the intrangecess of the people now running the club.
The usual shout from a few on here is, Come up with some alternatives.. There's only one. Put the club up for sale..
It may take some time, it may never happen. But this private club mentality is depressing, and clearly not working.

So my alternative would be to have people not so egotistacly driven, and more open to outside help running the club..

Not going to happen is it. Shame, because whilst we're not owners /members, or even season ticket holders, we have in the past (Distant past in my case), spent a lot of money at Wrexham FC.

It is pointless having just one good candidate as there are 8 vacancies on the board this year. If you only added one person who wanted change then they would get out voted on everything and likely end up resigning like the four members who resigned this year

Sorry did not realise 8 vacancies. Clearly will need tactical voting however to oust the individuals who will not resign due to their egos.

Yes I believe some are put off running for election as they know they'd be constantly undermined if certain individuals remained on the board

Agree. And with 8 vacancies it will be almost impossible to make the full changes required this year. We need to hope those willing to see change can air right on the board for a year, not get too frustrated at being undermined and wait for more reinforcements to come at next years AGM. If they resign mid year then we are back to square one.
