Perhaps if and when football in front of fans does return to the racecourse then the only course of action will be to protest them out as they have made it clear they want to play the smart arses by hiding behind the no mandate to do anything nonsense. That or we try to organise an alternative leadership with vision and business skills to compliment a football savvy presence on the board.

Both boards are just going to sit on their hand and hope the storm blows over. They know there is no mention of names coming forward. All of them read RP and other media platforms and there is nothing out there that threatens them.

Does seem Demand Change needs to be escalated as seems only bankruptcy would change the mind of the Board loyalists.

Surely members can make proposals for the AGM such as limiting term of office to 2 terms.

Unlikely as it might seem right now, given the mood of RP contributors, just imagine that we had a board that we were all proud of: maybe one that oversaw consecutive promotions through Div2 into Div 1. The bank accounts were overflowing, and players were queuing up to play in front of 25,000 fans at a refurbished Racecourse with easy disabled access. Training was carried out at a brand new location nearby which had the best possible facilities.

Impossible? I did say "imagine."

But the point is, how many here would still clamour for that successful board to be dismantled at the end of 2 years in charge?

As it is now, every member of the current board MUST resign/retire automatically after 3 years of service, and while they may apply for re-election if they wish, their places will still be taken by any other candidates who receive more votes at the next AGM.

Given mess Messrs Jones,Harris instigated steps need to be taken to break their stranglehold on the club.
They are not successful.
They are not even using their own money.
They have failed the fans.
