Good shout. I've got a theory that players are going to be wanting longer contracts though. Not necessarily higher wages, but more certainty about employment.

Would we take a punt on a 2/3 year contract for someone like that?

Keates and Pep will ruin him by Christmas, then we'll release him in the summer and like others he'll have to spend 6 months rebuilding his reputation and career.

Any good player who does his homework on us wouldn't come here under the current management 'team'.

Not sure about 3 year contract. One thing though he has had the loan spell here so he knows what to expect with Keates and Pep Darlingtons poor tactics and training. Maybe the question should be does he want to come and stay here?

You'd imagine Darlington won't have his contract renewed (although I can see it happening)

The discontent with Keates will reach breaking point at some stage

He'd be walking into a basketcase that would damage his career

Well said was Oswell really given a run in the side? he like all our striker signings cannot play as a lone striker with the balls booted from defence and no midfield support....the constant whingeing about Grant is tiresome to if it was not for his goals we would be rock bottom staring the abyss in the face.
