Keates' first ever summer signing

"“If we can get the best out of him, I know how he can perform .

“We have got him back into full-time football, he is hungry and wants to get his career back going again.”

Keates has also been boosted by the news that Paul Rutherford has put pen to paper on a new contract."

Quite possibly the worst signing we've had in the conference

What an absolute idiot. Great to see he's become a better person since being arrested for drink driving and boasting that he was a millionaire to the police.

What an absolute grade A weapon. One of the worst signings we ever made.
I'd give Bakare the worst signing award but Hurst is a close second.

Another of these ‘there’s a player in there somewhere’ but clearly has some pretty serious behavioural/mental health issues which have clearly stymied his career prospects.

Exactly, how he hasn't been sectioned is beyond me. The records of his arrests seem to make it clear that he has some serious issues. He needs proper help, he's going to do something that eventually lands him in prison long-term.

The club has a record of doing this with players who have issues and tbh now i think its something we need to stop doing especially with a tighter budget. If its know a player has issues then its a no no.

Spann maybe but we have had much worse than the other 2,not saying they are great but pound for pound they wouldn't be in our worst 50 signings in the conference
