Danny Ward monies

So, we apparently received £1.875 million for Danny Ward.

As of 30th June 2019 that maximum that was still outstanding (Trade Debtors per the audited Accounts) was £944,444 and we had Cash at Bank of £257,554.

This means that in the year to 30th June 2019 we had already gone through £673,002 of that money?

How did we go so far out of budget in what was a good year, where we challenged for top spot and had an extra home play off game?

Wasnt this the time when we had 3 managers in the same season? There must have been costs around that? Club is a basket case

Payoff for Hughes was 15k, the others were on shorter contracts

Payoff for Keates is 10k but there are breakout clauses so you'd imagine it'd cost less

Yes we sold Ricketts to Shrewsbury.

Then we terminated Barrow and Newell.

Then we employed Hughes.

I would imagine there is not a lot of a net cost to us in those 3 deals.

We employ(ed?) managers under standard LMA contracts, so at a guess it is 6 months notice for severance pay.
Compensation due to us is 6 months pay if another club poaches our manager.

Off topic, but have any other clubs snapped up or shown any interest in Hughes since he was sacked? Surely footgolf experience is top of every clubs list!!!

On Rickettes it's rumoured we got barely anything for him.
I bet Bobby Grant is on a good wedge, possibly more than at Fleetwood to get him to drop down.
