Re: The new season attendances
Could they peg the attendance at something like 4000 and make the matches all ticket. Use the computer system so that there I say person, empty seat, person, empty seat? Not sure how feasible that is.
Personally given the poor football and general apathy towards the club I can't see us getting more than 3500 in. |

Personally, unless there is a real spike in virus transfer, I can see some form of normality returning around October. Maybe with fans wearing masks. |

Re: The new season attendances
Issue with allowing fans at football is not so much the match itself, which is relatively easy to keep social distance during the 90 mins.
As someone said, it's safer than going to the cinema, but when you go to the cinema you don't spend potentially a couple of hours on a train each way, a couple of hours in close proximity to hundreds of other people in the pub beforehand and 15 mins very close contact queueing for a pie at half time. It's the behaviours around a football match that make it difficult to see them allowing fans anytime soon. Especially in Wales where they're being extra cautious. Even limited capacity would mean we probably make a big loss on each home game as the running costs wouldn't be much less than usual. I can see the lower leagues preferring to only go back when there are no restrictions on capacity and mothball the whole thing in the meantime. |
