We need to remember how awful the pog was when he started. He was overweight and poor. However the management obviously saw potential. They persevered with him and worked with him and fair play he did eventually do very well.

Madness to think that our forward options were Speight, Wright, Pogba, Morrell and Cieselwicz in comparison to the rubbish we’ve had for the past few years.

I bet JJ Hooper would have been alright in that system. Likewise, Wright, Pogba and Cieselwicz would definitely be remembered differently had they came along under Keates.

Really? I thought it was pretty obvious from day one he had the raw materials to be a player.
