I remember this being brought up at the time.

Thought it was debunked.

Sad if true but on the other hand if you are on your arse for money you will have to do this sort of thing, the big question is why are we so desperate on our crowds and two Wembley Appearances in the bag. We should have no issues with cash flow as we have bot been spending it on quality management, coaches and players.

That’s what is concerning about all this. Despite some major cash inflows (Which show no sign of being repeated) we have been really struggling financially under “Fans ownership”. It is further evidence, if any is required by now, that it DOES NOT WORK.

Foxy :- There are two ways of looking at it. "Fans ownership does work" if you just want the business to stand still.

"Fans ownership does not work " if you want your business to reach the expectations of the fans.

It needs investment from somewhere.

That's the point. Where is the next lot of money coming from?

It doesn't work if you want to stand still either.. Fans will eventually desert the club.

Exactly. No football business can stand still and has to operate on the basis of hope of moving up the leagues. Under fans ownership we have year on year been an above average team which flirts with the play offs and may with a bit of luck get promoted. And then what , with massively increased wages budgets in the football league ?

And if you are just flirting with the play offs, there is always the danger that in some seasons there is a flirtation with relegation eg 2019-20. All the evidence points to fans ownership being limited at National League Level. So fans ownership at a club like Wrexham means probably staying at our level and if we did get promoted , I say again how on earth could we compete with the budgets in the football league ?

So it means ultimate shortish term failure and therefore we have to wage war against the likes of Harris, Lindsay Jones , and Pete Coaches who have a political ideology dedicated to socialist ownership and the club playing in an independent Wales - ie not in the English leagues.
