People, though, don't realise (or don't care) that by stopping being members they lose their right to vote and have a say. In a fan ownership model, that's catastrophic because you are always left with the status quo.

Yeah. I think that many of us - myself included - naively trusted the current board for far too long, unfortunately.

I was an elapsed member, I’ve joined again last week only because I want to vote for drastic changes, never mind I’ll get over it

Fans have had over ten years to become and remain members. They have had plenty of time to read the membership rules. They have had opportunity upon opportunity if living local to question the WST and club board on various issues.

Perhaps its the fans continued apathy that has led the club to its worst ever season since the 1920's.
