Mind you has football been normal since the WST took over?

Has football in Wrexham been normal since the club was taken out of the football league by the previous ownership.

An ownership, I might add that seemed to have the support of the fanbase - blind leading the gullible blind.

This is said - not defending the current style of the wst leadership and the position the club ended the season.

No one can defend last seasons performance. Its the lowest ever league position IN OUR HISTORY. If the season wasn't curtailed due to Covid19, we might even have been relegated. Still...…...they give their time for free!!!

All previous directors pre PG gave freely of their time.

There is a difference. Previous Directors were effective in their role, unlike the present ones! Paid, or not.

That is questionable, even if we disregard those that put us into administration, got us relegated from Div 1, lost our league status, lost the Racecourse, lost Colliers and left us losing money hand over fist and massively in debt. My memory has faded but over the last 50 odd years but, we have been repeatedly in debt, despite more often than not selling our better players.

Yes we have had some excellent times and Neal, Flynn and Smith produced exciting successful teams but much of that was down to their ability to work with limited resources and on the back of player sales or lucrative cup runs.

I'm not saying many of our previous directors were poor as we have had some extremely hardworking directors over the years, who went the extra mile to assist managers and develop the Racecourse and secure Colliers. The one big plus I personally would give our previous directors over the current Board is that they managed to maintain a high degree of stability and despite some lowly league positions, it always felt, (maybe more in hope), the club could go forward.

They are not idiots and I would have voted that way if I thought enough Wxm fans would buy into fan only ownership and the club could realise its potential as the only professional club in N Wales and a fan base that can almost reach 20,000 for trips to the Millenium or Wembley. Too many fans have held back, waiting and hoping for a sugar daddy or simply the foresight that the club wouldn't get greater buy-in. I believe fan ownership has increased and maintained gates and other revenue streams but some form of partnership needs exploring, but unless we win the lottery, the bulk of the finance will still be needed from the membership.

To continue supporting a system that's given us 8 years of pure hell with no sign of improving is idiotic, sorry.
