I would favour WST majority share (51% +) with local, responsible investors. I would not want a full sale.

I have followed this debate and there are a wide variety of views . The sell the club view is not wholly dominant but those who propose it do not offer any long term solutions .
My largest single opposition to this view is the simple one of who would want to buy the club !
There are a number of reasons why individuals buy football clubs. The kudos theory of ownership is one such as the Saudi or Chinese investors etc usually high profile clubs .
We also have the delusional owners with little or no money but big ideas . There are a few of these around.
Then there are the downright rogues who wish to make personal profit and couldn't care less about the club.no prizes for guessing any candidates here.
We also have the well meaning local businessmen. Possibly Pryce Griffiths fits here although Jack Hayward is a better one .
So which of these types or others will buy the club?
As for consortia can all the proponents of sell the club
Get together and put a proposal. In this economic climate we need to get real . Businessmen and women will be desperate to protect what they have.
We should all be careful what we wish for.
Its been a lousy season but we have to keep supporting .

That platform will ultimately be for away fans anyway and there we had no platform prior to theTrust taking charge

That's due to stupidity and not learning the lesson from Hamilton 2 on the trot says poor due diligence....

Yes the fans not the WST saved the club but the present system will not take us forward as a club.

You keep supporting the Peaky Blinders but we are the longest club in the National league for a reason.

An ownership, I might add that seemed to have the support of the fanbase - blind leading the gullible blind.

This is said - not defending the current style of the wst leadership and the position the club ended the season.

The blind was those who did not look into a Liverpool supporters background after the previous crook. 2 on the trot says foolishness.

Yes the fans saved the club, but since then it's gradually gone backwards the present system of the way the club is run will never take us forward, but maybe you're happy playing pub teams.

This puzzles me bit... Why would anybody put their own money in the club. Only to be overruled by people who haven't..

Difficult to disagree with you. Also what is meant in the previous post by the word investment?

A bid for the clubs on the table allegedly, wish they'd just tell us all the details instead of messing about.

Setting it up to blame the fans me thinks.
