When football starts again I'd offer a trial to Touray Sisay at Aberystwyth Town. Rated very highly by a few people I know involved with the Cymru Premier. He's been on trial with Hearts, Stoke and Hull previously.

😂 yeah probably. No idea what his contract is, might expire at the end of the season. All hypothetical on my part. He was miles ahead of all the other South strikers in the scoring chart.

I'm also struggling to see how anyone is offering contracts to players...Effiong has gone to Stevenage today...I think we will be very much loanees if we start a season..
Spending their parachute payment ?

Build a centre defence around the Pizza man! Ideally very tall and more mobile than we have seen recently. There must be a fair amount of these sorts being booted out of league clubs.
Midfielders who can pass a ball to colleagues. Perhaps one who is the steel in the team that brings a balance. Redmond to be loaned out if he cannot improve.
A winger that has true speed and is prepared to beat a full back, would be lovely. A real, physical centre forward in the Jim Steel cast would give options to attack. Perhaps we already have a few creative types who can play along with these.
In my squad, there is just no room for Akil Wright or Rutherford either. I'm dreaming again!
We do not have room for a Jim Steel type of striker, our coach wants us to play one up top meaning we are stuck with a Holroyd/grant leading the line.

As we have seen, a Holroyd/grant type will encounter two 6 foot three giants who win everything in the air and manipulate their every move. In our League, its generally fast, physical teams that do well.
We are usually "wee weeing in the wind!"

They moved quickly. Using their parachute payment, I'm guessing. Effiong scored 16 last season but before then I didn't rate him at all. They'll be hoping that one season wasn't a fluke.

Woah hang on 10 goals. Pep Darlington won't like that one bit. He will coach that scoring record out of him.

As for the Kings Lynn chap no chance in hell we can attract a striker like that anymore. Was Moult the last player we had who scored more than 15 in a season?

McIntosh scored 15! (17 including cup games)

He'd have scored 15 for us if we played St. Mirren's kids every week.

He's worth a go but I'd be afraid we'd Oswell him. Although it's way more likely we sign James Alabi or someone of that ilk who couldn't score in a brothel with a £50 note sellotaped to their forehead.
