Right - Get rid of Dibble and the young lad and get just one reserve goalie. Recruit proper full backs who are primarily skilled at defending and may just be able to get to the half way line.
Build a centre defence around the Pizza man! Ideally very tall and more mobile than we have seen recently. There must be a fair amount of these sorts being booted out of league clubs.
Midfielders who can pass a ball to colleagues. Perhaps one who is the steel in the team that brings a balance. Redmond to be loaned out if he cannot improve.
A winger that has true speed and is prepared to beat a full back, would be lovely. A real, physical centre forward in the Jim Steel cast would give options to attack. Perhaps we already have a few creative types who can play along with these.
In my squad, there is just no room for Akil Wright or Rutherford either. I'm dreaming again!

Adam Marriott. 42 goals in 49 for Kings Lynn Town according to Wikipedia. 28 goals last season. Could be worth checking out a few of their games last season to see if he’s worth a try.

I can see the return of Ollie Kearns and Arfon Griffiths looming on the horizon.
The spares and repairs will need a VERY big tin for the restart.

The same Kings Lynn that just got promoted to our league? No chance of this chap. There's probably someone in the Scottish 4th tier who scored 10 goals though.

When football starts again I'd offer a trial to Touray Sisay at Aberystwyth Town. Rated very highly by a few people I know involved with the Cymru Premier. He's been on trial with Hearts, Stoke and Hull previously.

😂 yeah probably. No idea what his contract is, might expire at the end of the season. All hypothetical on my part. He was miles ahead of all the other South strikers in the scoring chart.

I'm also struggling to see how anyone is offering contracts to players...Effiong has gone to Stevenage today...I think we will be very much loanees if we start a season..

We do not have room for a Jim Steel type of striker, our coach wants us to play one up top meaning we are stuck with a Holroyd/grant leading the line.

As we have seen, a Holroyd/grant type will encounter two 6 foot three giants who win everything in the air and manipulate their every move. In our League, its generally fast, physical teams that do well.
We are usually "wee weeing in the wind!"
