Contracts probably do not end today, but I do expect Keates to know his mind. He knows who is signed on, who he wants to re sign and those who are surplus. If I was one of those on the way out, I would want to know ASAP so that I could try and get fixed up elsewhere.
Interest and enthusiasm for next season is probably at an all time low. The announcement of the retained list is the start of a clear out and of the re build for the new season (whenever that is).

That's not how I remembered it. I thought Marc Williams broke his foot and Louis then went awol when we played down south, refusing to travel back with the squad (or something like that!)

Your point is right though about not adapting to players, it's so frustrating when we let players leave who then score goals for other sides

Once we retain the likes of Dibble & Rutherford interest in next season will be even less.
