Been some success today at the club our u19s won their league these lads could be key role next season due to costs

If they're any good we sell them for peanuts before they get near the first team.

Or get them to sit on the bench whilst we sign more and more lower league journeymen.

There are many things wrong with the management of playing staff. However FTR has highlighted a major failing - looking for the cheap, quick fix option (which has got us to the lowest point in our existence) rather than investing in our young players.
This might now be forced on us - I would welcome it.

Let’s not get too carried away it’s a tier 3 college league and the best player is unlikely to stay.

I wouldn't blame him! I'm struggling to think of a single youth player over the last 10 years who's broken into the first team and then gone on to bigger and better things.

And when you look at some of the players we have bought in it must be heart-breaking for them to know they won't get a chance in the first team.

Bobby Beaumont has hinted he is gone.

All the youth at the end of their scholarships must now be free agents, none being offered a deal at all (yet).
