3. The insistence that they have 'all the skills required'.

.... and that's not even going into how they have treated the DSA. Oh, and the many many awful decisions and piles of wasted money.

We have the worst of all worlds, a 'fans owned' club where the fans have no sway and a club that has been eaten from the inside out. When the Ward money is gone (if it hasn't gone already) we are potless with way of making money other than the fans.

Enough is enough.
Ok I understand your point.

The only thing I don’t want to happen is worst case scenario someone comes in and destroys the club again. I’m at a point I’m willing to be accepting of any type of fan ownership as long as it’s being run by those who want there to be a long term future for the club.

I don’t think it’s perfect but out of the people we’ve had running the club in my lifetime I’d choose the WST. I’m more accepting to think the way the club is run now is the worst of fan ownership but the worst of private ownership is AFC Wrexham in the Cymru League North.

I'd add the near destruction and disgraceful neglect of the youth system which makes it highly unlikely we'll make the kind of money Neil Taylor and Ward sales gave the club. Money we now know was crucial to the clubs survival. Which brings you onto the transparency myth and the lack of it.

'someone comes in and destroys the club again' - there's irony for you.

The WST has taken the club to its lowest position ever and that decline may not be over yet.
If that's not destruction of a football club I don't know what is. We could have easily been relegated this season.

So the people you'd choose to run the club have done worse than any other owners. This is a football remember, that always seems to be glossed over by some people as if its a side issue.

The reality is that Hamilton, Moss and the WST - none are fit for purpose.

Some are worse than others, but all failed miserably and the picture you paint ignores the fact that there are genuine people out there who will buy a football club, put money into it, not expect returns and run it properly. There are loads of examples of these types, far more than there are examples of rotten owners.

How much if that is down to lack of FL funding and the best youth players at our level are free to leave for a small development fee?

To me the job of WST has always been to properly vet any potential buyers, however considering what's already happened I wouldn't trust them to do this anymore.

Considering the question on the survey about 'professional advisers' it makes you wonder whether to they even trust themselves to do it?

All this lot want to do is say 'it's my ball and I'm taking it home'.

If it was run properly it would be irrelevant because it would fund itself. Don't try and find excuses for them, there isn't any.

Its reputation in this area is terrible. Go and speak to any youth coach for local teams if you don't believe me. I never met any who had a good word to say about the academy. Most had several horror stories.

Even if promoted, we would not get the funding as things stand. It's then short weeks to get everything in place to secure that funding, even shorter going up via the Play-offs. So it's likely we'd miss out in season one, that's how terrible the CoE is at the moment.

The club would have you believe this money is handed out upon promotion no matter what. That's not true at all.

Plus we would have to play our significant higher wages in the EFL. Fans ownership can’t really work at our current level and would probably very quickly collapse in the EFL.

the plain fact is those running the show have consistently made mistakes and then had the temerity to inform us that the club has never been run better, it was to be seen the season after the Trophy season and it has gradually declined, i and others have sneaky feelings that there is more data on mismanagement to be revealed, i however dont want to know i just want my football club back
