I'm thinking about all the games where he looked and played like he couldn't care less and did nothing and told fans to f off. Clearly got issues. His 'performance' away at Chorely earlier this season. A disgrace of a performance.

All this chopping and changing of players, it all starts adding up the money that gets wasted at the club.

Why oh why, we sign players that don't fit the system we try to use. Somethings not adding up and is costing the club a lot of money and going uncontested.

This is Spencer Harris' department according to the list with each persons role, best he sorts it out and fast.

I get the impression Yosser missed out on a number of key targets and then had to scrabble around to fill the squad with the likes of Barnum Chambers Barton and so the agency fees for them indicate the panic and not having an option. Bad planning all round. As much as I get most in here hate Keates, in his first full season with us he did business early, had clear targets and went to the second or third choices decisively so let's hope he does that again when we can restart.

Don't follow this comment and that is probably my ignorance of club politics. Surely the manager picks the players he wants to sign and then the club administrators have to work out if we can afford the players wage demands signing on fee etc ? Then the manager must fit that player into a 'style' of play ( i use that term carefully in DK's case).
How can that be controlled (other than the financial side) is difficult for me to follow ?

Obviously but i am sure you get my point ? To be fair in your own words they did with Ricketts but failed miserably with Hughes.

Didn't he chase Andy Cook for an eternity and waited too long to go to Plan B we had to settle on loanees like Massanka?

Something doesn't add up Oswell played as a target man, I could've told whoever for free that wasn't his game. A centre back playing right back because he played a couple of games there at youth level and did okay. You could go on and on, something doesn't add up and really Spencer Harris should be asking why x player looks so out of his depth in whatever position.

Either he's got a useless management team in place more often or not, or those scouting are useless. It's his remit to investigate what's going wrong and where to improve things.

Darlington being given the boot is step one, that won't happen as his wages in part get covered by the FAW Trust. He more than most should've known Oswell isn't a target man, really he should be in the managers ear saying. If the manager won't listen to his coach, then he's clearly forced upon whoever comes in.

I hear you but in the end it starts and stops with the manager. I am responsible for an area at work and I stand and fall by its success - sure you can blame those that recruited me but there is always an element of gamble in that.
Again when it comes to Darlington i simply do not know what he is and is not responsible for ? We looked half decent during his short spell as manager but it was too short a time to make any sort of judgement and of course he did not have to perform all of the tasks that define a manager such as recruitment etc.
I don't have all the answers but similarly cannot believe that all the problems stem from Spencer.
