as mentioned above.. Morrell inherited thee best squad we have had since down here.. that finished the season on 98 points. the squad he inhereited had the confidence and ability to continue with what they was doing.

its funny looking above at some defending Morrell.. yet i bet if we went back to the posts on here to when Morrel was in charge most the ones defending him now.. was probably slating him and calling for his head on a plate back then
If you're going to go back and look at some posts, I'd suggest starting with your own posts, to see how much of anything and everything you've been totally wrong about over the years. particularly pre season prediction type posts.

Isn't it fair and reasonable that fans would look to compare our managers from the non league era given our continued failure to gain promotion?

Yeah but it looks bad on the board so he’s here to silence anything like that.

Even Morrell our most successful Conference manager was appointed by Moss.

That will hurt Todd and Andy, the fact that the WST piggy backed on the manager and squad Moss put in place, its relative success and then couldn't carry it on. Bar the odd season of flirting with the play offs and then ultimately failing we've been going backwards ever since.

Maybe the WST should invite Moss to 'work within the current structure' and bring some much needed football expertise (in comparison to the clowns working the controls now) to the table?

What do you think lads?

Don't forget the income Moss generated in player sales from his time which was piggy backed on to, or how he backed the CoE resulting in Danny Ward and others, and all that money they've wasted. With no sign of such a players coming through to help generate much needed income.

Of course though, it's thanks to the brillianty run finances that all happened. Selling Fowler mid season to our league rivals one of the stupidest moves I've seen a club ever do. I'm sure though it boosted moral amongst the squad.

Let's all be honest here the WST has failed big time,we're now just a tinpot permanent non league club in a downward spiral.

Todd and his mate Lindsay and a few other followers on here go on about their Grandchildren being able to watch, what a load of bollocks more and more kids will only follow Premier clubs join the Liverpool bandwagon etc they won't want to be watching amateur football in a delapidated stadium.

I await the attack from the club killers on here, but what a way for the club to die killed by it's own so called fans.

RIP Wrexham afc

Peaky Blinders will never give up their I own a football club bullshit.

Do you actually have stats showing this? Or is it like your claim about attendances being well down before Keats rejoined, which was completely untrue. (Not saying you deliberately tell lies, of course - I know previous posts of yours have made me think you just don't understand statistics. Either way, would be great to have the stats for us to see for ourselves!)

I thought Keates' record would be decent given he left us in the play-offs but that obviously wasn't that strong to cover his return.

If we were ever going to re-appoint someone, Morrell would have made far more sense, even without stats, he would have been far less polarising and look at how Tamworth dropped after he left there.

I'd still have him back in a heart-beat.
