How can we spend or sign players when we have no idea when the league will be back... If there is a 2nd wave then we are goosed.

Exactly..No starting date every possibility it will be halted if it does start...no crowds etc ..
Without crowds ..clubs will go under. So Stockport signing players like Rooney on 3 year deals under the circumstances seems like madness .. Reid is ok but he has only averaged about 2/3 goals for every club he's been at...all nine clubs

Will they be in the shit? How much money are these new signings on? Clubs with ambition will take calculated risks in this climate to get a head start, good on them I have no issues with any club taking the plunge and I very much doubt they’ll be signing players if they can’t afford too. There’s too many on here making assumptions about the likes of Stockport being foolish yet no one mentions we allowed Bobby Grant to renew his own contract and we’re still paying Redmond to be at the club after a ridiculous 2 year contract, can we afford these type of players in the current climate? And will we go under without crowds?
