I don’t think any signings are “realistic” at the moment. Let’s look at some knows
- Boris announcement today puts serious doubt on the season starting Oct 3rd as previously suggested
- if it does start then it is doubtful that crowds would be allowed in Wales
- there is no furlough available after October, before then we have to contribute to staff wages.
- even if there is a furlough scheme we need to unfurlough staff to enable pre season training and to sell tickets and/or sponsorship
- we have a wage bill of seven professional players who I imagine our seven of our highest earners from last season. We also have a manager and assistant. We don’t know if the coach has had his deal renewed
- we also have a club Secretary, commercial manager, stadium manager, two shop workers, two groundsman and accounts/admin staff
That adds up to a very sizeable wage bill to be paid
- we have £200k in the WST bank
-We have not been Told the finances of the football club but as we were asked to “unite and SAVE the club” you can only assume they aren’t healthy

Summary - we won’t be signing players of any sort of caliber and all of the above factors is before you consider the fans that have walked away because of the mis management of the board and the horrendous style of football

The club will have to start paying NI etc from today, so the £200k will rapidly evaporate once the wages and other bills begin to bite.

With no immediate possibility of football resuming — and hence revenue coming in — I fear the end is nigh!

The Premiership is more like a distant galaxy than a different planet.

However, when the bubble bursts...

But weirdly... We wouldn't be interested if any outside interest was to come along...

Can't quite get my head around that.

Why do we always seem to look at past, past it players

Get some young speedie wingbacks in

Our recruitment needs rethinking
