Re: Transfers? (Also other National League clubs transfer updates thread)
Few updates from around the National League since we haven't got a different National League updates thread going for this season:
Stevenage signed Elliott Osborne from Stockport which is a great signing for them, I think. King's Lynn signed Jamar Loza, a former Jamaica international winger. There is movement in the league, even if the points about not signing anyone yet are valid. |

Re: Transfers? (Also other National League clubs transfer updates thread)
Huge number of redundancies announced at Airbus, i wonder how many season tickets that'll see gone. Those who think we'll snap up the good players because we're a big club and fan owned are frankly deluded.
You only have to look at the employment prospects around Wrexham and North Wales to see it's going to be very difficult for the club going forward. Employment prospects weren't the best during the boom years, hence the youngsters moving away. It'll likely be clubs around the big employment hubs and cities who'll be well off, we may have to go part time and in many areas we've been that for years. Re: Transfers? (Also other National League clubs transfer updates thread)
Anyone who thinks we can go ahead and sign players with no guarantee of income is deluded. The reality is that the club is effectively closed down and will remain so until the National League decide how they want to restart. I would not be surprised to see any new players recruited on a part time basis.. We would have to pay the full time players under contract but I see no problem running the club with a mixture of both. Absolutely no point making forward plans in any detail until we have some structure for the coming season
