"we do not know who the interested parties are"

Thought would split this off https://wst.org.uk/wp/?p=1334

"In response to some enquiries by members, this is a request for feedback and constructive opinions and not a statement that the club is up for sale.

We receive enquiries from time to time about the Football Club, the latest of these enquiries coming fairly recently, however Wrexham Supporters Trust remains committed to our ownership of Wrexham AFC.

There is no bid on the table and at this stage we do not know who the interested parties are. It is important that the Trust must reflect the desire and opinions of our members and we hope we can come out of this process with a framework that does so accurately."

No bid on the table
+
We do not know who the interested parties are

= there are interested parties who might put a bid on the proverbial table ?

Wrexham Supporters Trust remains committed to our ownership of Wrexham AFC = Remains committed to destroying the club

To translate:

“If we pretend these people wanting to invest in the club aren’t real, it will all go away”

and

“Our seats are the directors table and our cosy little trips to the Conference AGM’s etc remain safe”

Direct action is urgently needed but nothing will happen because they're giving up their time for free.

This is a scenario then that the Board would prefer relegation and secret loans than actually having a fighting chance to get back into the FL.

So they are admitting there are interested parties but dont know who they are. What a bizarre statement to make

Makes no sense, but still people lap it up.

Not at all bizarre if you think about it. Often potential investors use a front man or a legal representative to express their interest. It can be difficult to find out who is actually behind the interest, as we have found out ourselves in the past a couple of times....

And if that were the case do you really think the WST would begin a survey to see if it is possible to change the constitution to potentially allow a sale of the majority shareholding?

This is the WST we're talking about
