I’ve decided to roll the dice for one last time, and not request a refund. Don’t shoot me down

It saddening when my jester supporting brother in law keeps whatsapping me pictures of merchandise that he’s bought @ new shirts, face masks , and then there’s the £100k build the budget fund and £30k playoff fund.
How can a tin pot club get everyone pulling in the same direction. Wish me luck if they get promoted. Family get together - I’ll be washing my hair, or reading red passion on the subject of more abject failure

Ha ho, let the WST keep my money and let’s see what’s what

Come on Spencer and co - 5000 to 8000 people want to get behind the club, support it and have some success. We are currently a joke club. You’re in charge - get it sorted

I have always warned against fan ownership ... not enough qualified fans to run a club effectively was a concern from the start.
Amazing how people can distort a message.
I do hope it is all sorted out, but restricting income by calling for refunds will just make things worse in my opinion.
It is well worth reading up about certain recent previous owners in order to understand why the club is in such a situation.
Qualified 'fans' are out there but maybe haven't been invited into the fold.

Remember it was 'qualified' fans who took the club to what is now the championship, a number pf promotions ( and relegations) Cup quarter finals, Europe. Previous 'qualified' fans kept the club going for donkeys years. The previous custodians .(Not Mos s) invested in property, ground improvements, Youth development, Training facilities etc etc.

The majority were good custodians who were monitored and held to account by fan shareholders like WAFC1926.and many others.

Begs the question now - What is a well qualified director? Perhaps degrees in this that and the other does not suit. Perhaps a nose for business and love for football is what is required.

The main ingredient clearly missing.

After last season's performance, I'd say a "love for football" isn't quite enough either.

I don't even get why this is a thread.

In my opinion if you claim back your season ticket that is your business. Same as if you choose not to.

Nobody really has the right to tell somebody to do it either way. You can get into the realms of guilting people to claim back money they actually need - just one example anyway.

Totally agree with this, people may really need their money back, and it is their choice. No one should feel guilty about this.

I think it’s also wrong to encourage people to withhold money from the football club to try to make some sort of point by starving the club of cash. I’ve even seen a couple of posters suggest that the club needs to be pushed into administration! How irresponsible is that?

it is less irresponsible than being part of a managed decline

Not as irresponsible as the actions of those in charge now. They almost got the club relegated through bad decisions and that's just one example. There are more.

I doubt anyone is influenced by anyone else, a thread on here or someone else's opinion. Most will make their own mind up and thousands refuse to attend games anyway simply because Keates was brought back.

The main influence comes from the actions of the WST and those on the club board who have through their behaviour and actions/decisions have driven fans away who've had enough.
You won't acknowledge or admit that though will you?
