I think he's another player who went away and scored goals. Unlucky with injuries and arguably out of his depth in the Conference. Been solid in Scotland though.

Jordan White - terrible signing, unlucky or not used right?
Barry Horne reckoned Mills' 2nd season could have been very different had it not been for Jordan White's absence:

"His presence might have brought out the best in John Rooney, Paul Rutherford et al and from that the confidence of the whole team might have been raised to an entirely different level."

I'm not convinced.

Looked a good player towards the end of the season, feel like he should have been given one more year. I can't imagine it would have broken the bank

Even purchased a house in Chester, payed a lot of money getting it reinvented. Like you, I think he should've been given 1 year.

I remember him being lauded as a good player because Everton watched once, Gerry Donagh another because he was at Nottingham Forest.

The sooner people realise players from that level get sent to the non leagues is to toughen them up or give them a reality check the better.

A fancy Paul Rutherford is all he ever was and I bet cost heck of a lot more in wages.

I think those quotes alone from Horne should put to bed anyone wanting him to return to the board for his football 'expertise'. Deluded, laughable and totally away with the fairies.

That squad Mills assembled in his second season was the work of a man desperately wanting the sack. I can think of no other reason for why he signed the majority of that squad, it was fine sabotage work.

Same as the club board bringing back Keates for a second stint. Sabotage and a fck you to the fans. Plain and simple.

Maybe he was planning to use him for farm work, herding and that sort of stuff.

Andy Bishop the worst investment and biggest waste of money for sure, although we’ve had worse players.

Connor Jennings was a good signing but didn’t really improve much until he went to Tranmere.

You couldn’t truly put a tag on who our worst player at this level is, there’s far too many to name.
