When was this new contract signed?

Add these to the 80 odd questions that remain unanswered.

How is this a 'strong rumour'? Presumably there's more to it than some bloke on facebook saying it and it just being repeated on here?

Would hope it's not true but given the running of this club over the last few years, nothing would actually surprise me anymore.

I heard this from two people yesterday but I have no idea if it originated from the same rumour originally.
My take on it is this may not be true but either way there is something very unusual about the Grant contract situation. Last summer he renewed for 12 months and
Now he is under contract again. That seems a very unusual situation

I know nothing but would imagine it’s a contract where if he plays x games he can choose to activate an extension for the following year, in which case the answer is don’t play him.

He'll have plenty of company in the stands from the loanees who don't play.

Money down the drain, but not mine.

Surely any details about BG contract would be another breach of sensitive information and the club would have to report themselves again?

Grant is another quality player underperforming at Wrexham, it would be interesting to see how many times he partnered hooper, and how often either scored when playing together. He ended up as a lone striker, got frustrated, lost discipline and desire, bad moments with supporters etc.
If we get the quality players and then play to their strengths grant will come good next season. Although if he’s still playing at 40 he’ll definitely be shite then

Agree with this, I am not a fan of Grant but pumping up high balls to him with no support was brain dead. Even with support he's not that sort of player.

We kill off strikers here
