Also in any audited organisation any substantial payments you expect would need dual authorisation so repayment would have been noted.

I suspect he could ruin a few peoples careers if inclined to do so, if he straightend the story like the previous occasion.
Funny how you interpret that.
Reads to me that the FC board were well aware of the situation but didn't inform the WST board. (A situation that's now been addressed after the secrecy over a managerial appointment). I would think that it's more likely that the investigation will be into why the FC board members failed to tell the Trust board members.

You know that's not what they meant, otherwise it would have been worded differently.

Classic spin tactics QR but it won't work. Nice try.

That's not how it read to Don, which is why he issued his statement to clarify the situation in response to the WSR Update of 9th May which said:

Directors Loans

Following on from last week’s communication. We have been made aware of a further Directors loan made by former Chief Executive Don Bircham. This was made by Mr Bircham as the result of a cash flow issue in May 2015. This related to a late payment to the club that season.

Mr Bircham paid the money into our account at the beginning of May and was paid back before the end of the month. The two transactions cancelled each other out and were not picked up at the time. Of course we are grateful to Mr Bircham for taking the action he felt was necessary at that time and we value his contribution to the club, not least as a long-term sponsor.

He knows too well, its just a feeble effort at spin.

It reads as if Don Bircham was able to take money out and put money into the club account whenever he felt like it, doesn't it?

The Club is run by a bunch of amateurs and we will rue the day that they took charge of affairs....they haven't got a clue how to run a business or a football club....code brown awaits us!

Independent enquiry? Why not involve North Wales Police? They will do it and it wont cost the club anything
