Unauthorised Loans
The board discussed these at length. Concerns were voiced regarding Mr Bircham acting without informing the board and there was a feeling that we need to check transactions from that era. An independent enquiry would cost a substantial sum and it was felt that now was not the time to spend non-essential funds. It was agreed to come back to this when the current crisis has abated.

However, Don had himself issued a statement on 11th May that included that "the loans were made with the support and knowledge of the football club board" and that "any protocols that existed for internal communication to club officials was a matter for those W.S.T. board members who also sat on the football club board.

If the Board claim no knowledge of loan it means we have a Finance Director who does not check the Bank statements.

This is absolute rubbish are they trying to claim that Don was the only person who knew there was a cash flow problem then borrowed the club money without anyone knowing about it and then took the money back without anyone knowing about ?

Pretty much and is very likely untrue, notice how it'll be investigated at a later date because funds are better spent elsewhere. We all know it'll be swept under the carpet and are they all really going to mess about with Don Bircham. I suspect he could ruin a few peoples careers if inclined to do so, if he straightend the story like the previous occasion.
