Default Grant contract explained

source the Leader. The option to extend last summer was a 2 year deal not 1 as reported. That's it. Poor and misleading comms at the time.

And yet we have to find out from the player himself

Media team silent, club silent. Both happy for the Leader to report it was a 12 month extension last year

Yeah but you can't be critical on here, what you have to do is put yourself forward for election otherwise the cult minions will be on your case coming out with all kinds of nonsense.

At least they acknowledged that communication is an area that requires some improvement.

When they are going to actively improve it is another thing.

You would imagine he doesn't want to be to here really, just using us for his own security.

Why the secrecy when he went out on loan. There was a few odd comments made by Keates that we might see him again, but it was never questioned by the media. Why not just say "He is going out on loan but he is contracted for another year".

Did they report it was 12 months? I couldn't find anything stating a time period when I looked the other day. (Although I assumed, as most people did, that it would have been 12 months.)

"A focused Grant, who jumped at the chance to take up the option of a 12-month contract extension with Wrexham"
