Don’t paint this picture to be a lie, find the stats from Dennis smith’s promotion season attendances I guarantee they are higher than these and fan ownership averages on a game by game ratio, see what I did there similar to yourself picking and choosing stats to benefit your argument.

If we do well we have always had support, just like when we are terrible nobody is interested.

If this attendance was just because of fan ownership, this would reflect in more WST members and voters .... oh wait .... nobody cares! Success on the pitch brings supporters and that’s the only fact in all of this.

All it takes is everyone who isn’t a pro wst wrexham supporter, to stop going and the club will be bankrupt.
Not sure what your point is. I deliberately put all the years in the NL as a fair comparison. the only reason I didn't include last season was I couldn't find an exact figure but even then I referenced it was over 4k - comparable to the Denis Smith promotion figure.

Gates are significantly above where they were in the Flynn years despite us being 2 divisions lower. Something is different. Why do you think that is?

Your last sentence is bizarre. All it takes is for all supporters whether pro or not to stop going for the club to go bankrupt. That's true at any football club.

Trouble is Cardiff red, while you look and search for benefits of fan ownership, the club decays a bit more, i know you mean well, but fan ownership has not worked, at Wrexham at least, since "fan ownership" took over the football has declined, the funds for players has clearly declined our position has declined, other teams come here and embarrass us with their higher standard of football.
It may very well be that attendances have risen under fan ownership but thyose in charge have mismanaged the income generated by thyat increase, if indeed there is, not only has the possibility of increased income from higher attendances been wasted but so has millions of pounds of sell on windfalls, please realise it is not working, for individuals to have their idealogical wet dream fulfilled the majority of fans watch from the outside while the club slowly fades

My point wasn't about whether fan ownership had worked. Rather it was challenging the ridiculous assertion that attendances haven't gone up in the past decade.

I think the point is well proven, regardless of league position that has been a plus of being fan owned. As far as league standings go last year was the worst but on average over the the Trust years compare that to the multiple disasters we had for a comparable period private ownership; administration, 2 relegations and no promotion from NL, blocks of flats on Wxm FC land, loss of the Racecourse and Colliers and left with huge debts. Time will tell whether last season was a one off or if we can get back challenging, but now is an opportunity to try and make changes to ensure it doesnt happen again.

What people aren't seeing we need is a strong membership, take the best aspects of fan ownership and buy-in and combine that with attracting more outside investment, regardless of what percentage the Trust maintain or even if we find 1 major investor that members accept who wants more than 50% control.

And that's the issue (IMO). Fan ownership should be better in so many ways. It doesn't feel like that at the moment though.

the best aspects of fan ownership are almost non existant, how much more time do you want, it has been long enough, the majority of fans do not care about constitutions and membership etc etc, they just want a football club, fan ownership has not worked, it has only ever worked in a relatively few places and is less likely to work at Wrexham because those in charge can only be replaced with others at the same level of expertise, the system needs changing

Unfortunately, I think that what people ARE seeing is the lengths to which some of the people high up in the trust will go to to discredit those they dislike, as explained in Bagger's post here. I don't see how we can unite with toxic people like that in charge.

It should be and with the support the club has we should be doing so much more As it stands we have an entrenched board not willing to listen who are mis managing the club to the point we nearly got relegated.
