We replaced Roberts with Bobb, I have no faith whatsoever in this setup

If we are realistically wanting promotion, then it’s good for the club that he’s left. He’s been a fantastic servant to the club, and will be remembered fondly by fans. He was beginning to get worse & we need full backs who are pacey and going to get forward a lot, Jenno wasn’t that.

Only issue is, I have no faith in the board/management to bring in the appropriate replacement & we will end up with a worse full back than him.

Kevin Roberts would of had little trouble holding down the right back spot in the season just gone. Jennings is a decent full-back at this level. Our previous dealing’s in the market suggest we will struggle to find a better alternative.

I agree with the first paragraph. On the second don't forget it was Hughes that brought Bobb in to replace Roberts (re another post on this thread) so that shouldn't be held against Keates. People may not like Keates but I am confident he can bring in better than an ailing Jennings and am happy for this post to be quoted back at me later in the season (gulp!).

Those pacey full-backs that can defend and get forward don’t ply their trade in the conference - not without lucrative terms anyway.

has been a class representative of the club throughout his 3.5 years with the club, but with nagging injuries and age his effectiveness was becoming less and less.

now if we could sign Jamie Reckord as his replacement that would be ideal.

Also, doesnt Nathan Craig play as a left back?
