How’s he become so popular? I don’t get it. Yes, his videos from a few seasons back were quite amusing. Just seems to me the joke’s wearing a bit thin now. Not a great advert for the club.

Not a good advert for Wrexham, wtf you on, can't you see what's happened to the club.

Have a listen, he is clearly not trying to be any kind of advert for anyone. He is just a bloke having a bit of a laugh and the only real association is that this started with his videos at the racecourse which as per the club put a stop to rather than embracing and working with him. Hats off to him I say, I don't find him particularly funny beyond the odd amusing soundbite but the two boys he has paired up with do a decent job of carrying this podcast.

He doesn't claim to have any relationship with the club other than being a fan... The club were quick to try and capitalise on the I'll conceived pint with bootlegger event so I'd suggest the ones making anything of this relationship are those in charge.

Bootlegger is like a modern day, North Walian Andy Capp. A parody of how football fans were in the 50’s. His life revolves around beer and sometimes Wrexham AFC. My lads, and youngsters in general find him a hoot, but after 10 minutes I find him tiresome.
It was a great move by Wrexham Lager Co to get him on board. He has certainly boosted their sales. Could our football club benefit more from Bootlegger?

I've always found Karl to be a good guy and it's a real shame the commercial department didn't see fit to get him on board last summer when his social media presence eclipsed the club by 6 to 1.

You only have to look at Wrexham Lager's recent success to see how valuable a commodity he could have been in a mutually beneficial partnership.
