I’d like to know why the club was offering the match with bootlegger on its begging bowl campaign. And correct me if I’m wrong why it had disappeared? Surely there must have been some form of chat to offer this????

Agree, don't get the hate for him personally.

The fact is, like him or not, he's got hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, which the club could have used to their advantage and got him on board in some way, but hey, they know best.

The begging bowls are still out in force too remember while opportunities like this have been missed, but they've managed to piss him off too, as they did with Don Bircham.

He's harmless, went viral and is now a Z List celebrity. I think it all started when FC Schalke used a Bootlegger video clip to celebrate a goal or a win i think?

people have particularly latched on to the Bootlegger Pilsner over Lockdown, which was a fortunate marketing ploy by Wrexham Lager, though i think it would have sold well regardless, but online beer purchasing has gone through the roof in these unprecedented times

By definition of what the term "z list" stands for, he most certainly is.

That is no disrespect to the bloke, he has done exceptionally well throughout the process to maximize the money he can generate for his family, but the fact remains 9 out of 10 people on the street wouldn't know him from Adam.
