Re: Training Ground Presentation
Very poor training ground for where we should be aiming for, penning ourselves in and I highly doubt a 4G pitch will be installed. No mention of preliminary talks with the FAW regarding a grant similar to what Merthy got and many other clubs.
Cheap, cheap, cheap and very shortsighted. I'd also love to know where they got the figures for agricultural land, the average country wide is around £7,500. |

Re: Training Ground Presentation
'Peppercorn Rent' £1, £100, £1000, £10,000 £100,000 etc ??
Being deliberately deceitful and doubling the cost of land around Wrexham. 40 acres in Cefn Y bedd for £250,000, they’re was 30 acres up tor sale in Hope at £100,000 both knowhere near the the figure the presentation quotes. Last edited by GiggityGiggityGiggityGoo; 24th July 2020 at 18.25:49.. |

Re: Training Ground Presentation
That second pitch does look very small and seems you'd almost be taking corners in someone's garden. The fencing would have to be really close to the touchlines.
The claim of 110k to set up a basic facility isn't right either as fences (54k) are part of the lease and parking (50k) would have to be done. Realistically, it's 250k minimum. edit - that doesn't even include irrigation which is surely vital or we'd end up not being able to train there for months on end like 9 acre.
