900k is still £45k for 20 people, but is that for the squad or includes manager, assistant, coaches and medical staff

What happens to relegated clubs who will no doubt have salaries which exceed the cap? Do we dock them points if they can't shift enough of their players or give them an unfair advantage on the rest of the league?

Definitely would prefer Financial Fair Play over a salary cap. It'd stop another Salford from coming in and buying the league.

Something needs to be done, though. I just don't know whether it's an arbitrary salary cap like this.

Would a salary cap favour those clubs who were able to load their teams with loan players whose parent club continue to pay their wages or the majority of their wages?

No. There are rules and limits of the number of loan players you can sign and have in your matchday squad.

So if a salary cap looks viable for the National League, are they going to apply these rules to the Premier League, where wages are crazy and disgusting.
