Crazy if money was used to pay off for example Barton and Fondop. Gardening leave would have been better surely.Again the Board paid 20k for an injured player, Oswell and let one of our highest earners,Grant, award himself a 2 year contract extension.

Although we received all the money from the Ward transfer. Only 50% is documented in the latest accounts and 900k is the the debtor part of the accounts.

I don’t know why the Club are asking the fans to fund the training ground (I presume it’s to protect the first team budget) but surely between the 200k in the WST money and the Ward money. The club must have 600k+ in the bank.

This covers around 60% of our playing budget for a season before gate receipts (around £1.1m a year).

COVID has put many business under pressure but with most staff on furlough. How much is it to run the club for a month? I’d be shocked if the figure was over £50,000?

When football resumes, the Ward money would have been an excellent spring board to get promoted as other clubs reduce budgets and a better standard of player available (for probably less money).

Surely the Club haven’t spent this money. The maths don’t add up?

I think they could have classified it under income , sorry meant incompetence . Remember there's only Harris can do this job , said so himself , must have meant only one who could be so totally incapable of actually doing the job . Disgrace .

Yeah that would account for about a tenner.

Agree. This should be the first question asked on Saturday.

Not sure if they've said anything, but every other thread Wxm Vito has started here has proven to be correct, so I'm inclined to think if he says it was sold back it probably was.

Newell would have been paid off, but we're talking less than 20k here surely.

There's no way we spent a fortune on players either, not with the likes of Ruthers 'on buttons' and even taking into account extra cash Hughes had and what Keates got last January it wouldn't be any more than 500k in total extra spent on players.

So CCTV and tax bill came to around 1.5 million? As if.

Of course we don't know the state of the clubs finances because the club has not said a word about that. Only thing we know is there's no money to pay for the training ground so I'd assume the clubs bank account is looking bleak at the moment.
The Ricketts money was a fraction of what we were entitled to is the rumour, £10k has been spoken about. If that's the case it's clear as day Ricketts wasn't sure on the kove and was forced out.
