What a wonderfully skilful player he was.

What a partnership Morrell and Trundle were.

That's the one - simply wonderful.

What great memories and a reminder of how far we've fallen 😢

I totally agree, sadly on both parts.

That team just looked so comfortable and could play football...

I was at the Bristol Rovers game with my lad and always said the Trundle goal was one of the best moments of individual brilliance i'd ever seen live

His performance against Oxford where he scored a brilliant hat trick was quite something. Their full back looked like he had diving boots on by the end of the game. He always looked like a player who was enjoying himself playing the game.

God, it was fun watching us around that time. I even used to like the wing back system we used to play under Smith.

We will get there again one day.

I hope you're right, but it won't happen under the current ownership & structure.

Its bonkers to think not all that long ago, under Ricketts, we were looking likely for the league. Then we lurched from one disaster to another.

Last game of the season of we hammered I think it was Cambridge 5-0. Some of the best football ive seen at the Racecourse with the Edwards on both wings.
