You can say you were there when the club went bust under the Peaky Blinders.

Social distanced singing in masks and goal celebrations in your own allocated 'safe pod' - lots of challenges ahead.

Seating capacity is totally different to seats available for actual occupation - even moreso in the future - seats around vomitories / access points / cross over points will all need to be excluded before we even start - strong stewarding will also be essential but last I heard we were struggling foe enough volunteers.
The restaurants and pubs in England and Scotland have managed it so why not football clubs. If you live in Wales you will have no experience of how well these establishments have coped with it. It works, though I have to agree that the youngsters and anti mask brigade will need a lot of persuading.

Your right - no doubt - they will get paid but they have to volunteer in the first place and turn up regularly and complete a set of ongoing training schedules.

The club are short of stewards - if they weren't we wouldn't be 'borrowing' stewards from our neighbours Tranmere Rovers to ensure enough suitably qualified stewards were available to staff the Tech End in certain matches last season.

If the club cannot provide sufficient numbers of stewards qualified to a certain level then we will be in breach of the stadium safety certificate and have to close down specific stands or at minimum reduce their capacity. The 'get out' is and always has been to 'import' stewards from other clubs - similarly on a historical basis we have provided stewards to support our neighbours Chester - but regardless, there have to be enough local volunteers who want to take on the role in the first place - I know some individuals who are very keen stewards they cover football matches, the likes of Chester & Bangor on Dee race meetings and music festivals like Shrewsbury Folk Festival -the same training modules will in the main cover the majority of crowd based events.

You mean they have managed it for a few weeks in the middle of summer - what happens when winter kicks in and we have 16 hours of daily darkness.

Another problem which you have highlighted - youngsters / anti mask brigade / then we add football and alcohol to the mix - doesn't bode well for those long dark winter moths in a town where the infection rate is currently about as high as you can get in Wales.

Well said RL and as Johnson has just woke up he expects a second wave in 2 weeks herd immunity.. Our 2000 or less in the ground is a fantasy, we are living hand to mouth begging for money now... It's only a matter of time before the club goes bust under WST ownership.

What, now the Maelor has stopped speaking under it's breath about how many Covid patients are there?

Wrexham is the current Covid hot-spot in Wales.

If a local lock-down happens that's not going to help Keates' glorious renaissance start in October is it?
