It looks like the Ward money has been used to hide the fact that the current leadership would have been running the club at a thumping loss. What have we had to show for it ? The worse team ever that was flirting with relegation to 6th tier. Its not as if this was the first year or two of WST leadership either is it ? Plenty long enough to show us that they do not have what it takes even at this lowly level.

I also assume that future season ticket sales and a build the budget and merchandise sales will add to that a bit before the next season eventually starts?
No. The £213k referred to is WST funds. We have not been told at any point what the financial states of the football club or WST Assets is.
Not being given an indication of these two accounts and therefore not full disclosure is the reason I did not donate my season ticket refund

So for clarity all the numbers on my original post are Wrexham FC. The £213k bank balance is the WST

So they are proposing to use every penny in the bank to finance this project.

But....we already pay nothing to train at the moment on Nine Acre and are still skint? It doesn’t add up. We would have more costs to run this new facility and no money left in reserve? Someone help me out.

No they are asking the fans to fund it as well as using every last penny the club has by the looks of it.
To propose this and not have funding in place is stark raving bonkers.

I know, I want to build an extension on my house but I've got no idea how I'm going to pay for it but fck it I'm pressing ahead with it anyway

Add to this the season ticket refunds

That was a cost neutral exercise as they could claim back 20% on every ticket from VAT and I believe close to 80% donated their refund to UTST

I'm no longer a WST member so have no vote. Would the new facility be a means to generate revenue ?
