May as well accept any old offer from anyone if it means they get the chance to make decisions for the club. Great idea! How about we ask Moss and dickens if they want a seat.

Any if thinks this is actually acceptable is deluded! It can be classed as bribery to certain extent. There is a democratic process to get onto the board. Why can't he just do it that way ?

I hope fans give them the benefit of the doubt, at least until they start to put actions into place and we see what that looks like. There needs to be a line in the Sand at some point, most of the board from this AGM forward, were not involved when the loans were made, the bizarre manager decisions of a year ago were made. So let's treat them with some positivity, until such a time as they have shown that they don't deserve it. We need to start thinking about the club again, that starts with the board. But fans need to take a breather from the constant negativity also, or the club is doomed. I know we have a lot to be negative about, but we don't need to hang out washing out in public, for fans of other clubs to have a laugh at. Let's get some pride back lads n lasses. New WST board, please work to bring the fanbase back together before it's too late.
I partly agree with you. The new chair will have an incredibly tough job On his hands and deserves some time and patience from the membership to try to tackle the mass of issues that will be waiting in his or her intray on day 1.
However where your post falls down is the issues you allude to as being responsibility to past wst members is not true. Loans and managerial appointments were made by the FC Board if which we can only expect one change (a replacement for John Mills).
If there is no further changes in FC Board personnel then I feel these issues will drag on and on.

What do you think would happen if a sugar daddy offered the club £5 million but asked for a seat on the board in exchange?. Would you take it?

I have submitted a resolution. I did so by the agreed deadline then worked really hard to do a redraft as requested by the WST board despite them giving me a really short deadline to do so. Having done all of that to comply with their deadlines I am really disappointed that just a week away from the AGM and members are not able to discuss and digest the resolution.

We are told there are close to 30 resolutions plus 8 candidate statements to digest, they really aren’t leaving us much time to read them in detail

The democratic process to have vote on key decisions should stop any misadventure.

Say for example, if the membership voted for building a second disabled supporters platform, you'd absolutely have to do it...

He would be purchasing the club though.

One has to assume that an offer of £5million would be to take a controlling interest and therefore a seat on the board would be inferred.
