Obviously the club cant accept £5k for a place on the board - that's not the scale of outside investment needed!

I'm sure there are other fans who could get that kind of money together and take their place on the board.

Don't know the man so would not presume to judge what his intentions are but accepting 5k for a seat would be a rather dangerous precedent to me.

It seems to me it would go against everything a fans owned club stands for , buying a place on a board , might be wrong though coz it's not really fans owned .

Maybe it's not a precedent and having been on the WST board previously, RU may be hinting that's the way others have got on the club board in the past?
