A minimum of 2 further co opted members will have to be sought.
Surely that’s wrong.

If one member gets less than 50% or the affirmation vote then there needs to be three co-opted members

Presumably they’d just co-opt that person on?

Even if over half of the membership said they didnt want that person? How is that democratic?

It's not, but neither is the lack of a second platform or of board members being shadowed after members voted for both of those things.

i have just read the bullshit of spenser and gavin, well ive done this and ive done that for the club, what you ve actaually done is bring this club to its knees, as for saying nobody has asked for the club to be sold thats a load of crap, i for one are now asking you to sell. and bugger off somewhere in the wpl to play director before its too late to salvage anything.as for the training ground what a stupid place to build it and wheres the money coming from its a bloody team we want not a new stand or training ground. if we get back in the league this would fund them but we ll have nobugger there to fill them. talk about sensible people with management material you have nt got a clue. you are so ego bound you can t see noone wants you on that board anymore so bloody leave

from the WST election policy:
----
If there are as many or fewer candidates than there are places, an
affirmative ballot shall be held at the AGM. Each successfully nominated
candidate will be put before the meeting for the approval of members. Any
candidate not receiving the support of more than half of those present in
person and by proxy shall be deemed to have not been elected. The
exception shall be that should the failure to elect any of the validly
nominated candidates leave the Board below the minimum required under
the Rules for them to act, all validly nominated candidates shall be deemed
elected by the EMG and this declared at the AGM.
----
so what is the minimum required under the rules for them to act ?

if its 12 then whats the point of the affirmation vote?

It’s a dog and pony show.

There is no need.
