The question was - My understanding was that a large sum of money ( from our football fortune) was ‘ringfenced’ for the Groves project. Is that not the case ?

I can't be 100% but it may have been included in a question formed from multiple questions relating to the same thing (the Ward/Taylor money).

Yours is somewhat different though as it directly suggests that money was set aside for this. It was worthy of being a separate question. He asked about the Pete Jones comment about not being a fan if you don't back the training ground, which was one of, if not the most provocative question, hence me saying most of the tough ones got asked. I did take a bathroom break so I missed your question in the chat. It's a very good one.

I was able to ask questions without the worry of being told sit down, worry that the question is too probing and therefore have people looking at you like you're the enemy. A question could be asked and then responded to without interruption. That was nice.

There are many members who also don't live in or around the Wrexham area and it allows them to get involved without having to drive however many miles.

I'd like to think/hope, going forward that members could access all meetings in the future via zoom so everybody can take part.

Usually from the' bar leaners' who have had their alcohol top up. I to have had the odd comment from that direction but I am battle hardened when it comes to debate. Hence why I prefer the 'real' meting and hope they return soon - with the addition of Zoom for exiles.

If by the time the agm has taken place the only things to have changed are The Groves is voted against and more new faces are added to the WST board, then for me the club is finished. We already know we’re losing 800k per season and that’s with most people supporting the club. The goodwill and confidence has gone. I was hoping there may have been some positive news today

It doesn’t make sense, we’ve proved that we can’t sustain the club as things stand because we’ve blown 1.8million in 2 seasons, and ended up nearly relegated. Even if groves was voted in we wouldn’t be able to do it anyway, I’m sure there’s a lot more to this than the information given to fans

I agree with you on that, I think more work is needed. You have inflation we need planning permission, think we might be ok on that, objections from neighbours. The covenant could take years with appeals. We need a plan B, but it's the same as the football team no plan B
