A takeover is the only thing that will save us from going bust or going part time.

well Mr Hometown Unicorn, at long last we agree on something, but that is democracy, true democracy, given comments on ther sites it is clear there are a fair percentage of Wrexham fans who are (as Jordan Peterson would say) politically possessed and is the reason why it is difficult for change to happen, supporters who just want to watch a football team and want to save the club are fighting against the boards who think "just another go and we will get it right" and then the boards supporters who are demonstrating their preferance to a cause, a mission where reality is not recognised

In a nutshell that is it.

This lot have had best part of 10 years now to get it right and we are nowhere near and a once in a lifetime pandemic just saved us from regional football.

It’s the end of the line, simple as that.

Democracy my a**e! How many folks thought they were going to vote, and never got the e mail? Granted, everything was passed, but how can it be “your club” when only the chosen few can vote. I am not talking personal vendetta’s here, just incompetence. Next Saturdays AGM, will be another mountain for me to climb.

Did you contact them to ask for the email to be sent?

I know you shouldn't have to

Factor in the windfalls which have propped us up in the last few years and it's even more concerning. In other years we broke even because of money coming in from sell on fees, 3 Wembley trips and an FA Cup tie at Stoke, as well as the Build the Budget campaign. The cow has now been milked dry so without an incredible amount of luck, I don't see a pleasant future for us with this lot.

Sorry you didn’t get the email totally wrong. As I’ve stated before renewed my membership some weeks back to make sure of getting my vote, maybe this tweaked the system somehow both emails received. It’s a pity all the talkers hadn’t done the same, we may have had a chance to turn the vote.

It is sickening to have witnessed all that money having been wasted. Our funds have not been treated with the respect deserved. Too many years of self praise and back slapping as the euphoria of suddenly having other people's money to spend corrupted the initial well meant efforts of the WST. Buoyed in the short term by the cash from football fortune generated by a previous regime, the WST believed its own economies of truths as to their suitability of running a professional football club. Devoid of the skill sets needed, their energies were directed at drowning out any concerned voices. Protected by a constitution unfit to deliver vision and meaningful leadership, the WST now finds itself penniless as a once loyal fanbase wonders how on earth all that money bought them a game or two away from 6th tier amateur football.
Any consortium would hopefully treat their own cash and the fans with a little more respect.

It's best not to think about all that money, the biggest football fortune the club has ever had, and the last sell-on money it will get for a very long time.

Just to remember that it's gone, and what it got us, and whether those begging-bowls are a very good investment?
