Exactly, so it is the clubs fault.
Should never have signed him in the first place and many said so at the time.

This club has been taking punts on players for years and still the penny hasn't dropped that they rarely work.

The bar was set with Saunders 98 point team, full of seasoned proper footballers. The closest we come to that was Ricketts team, but then the club board had to make some big decisions, got them all completely wrong and killed the season dead.
