Mrs PD is extremely amused by it all, and doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about. Quote: “It’s only a game of football. There are plenty other teams to watch.”

I look at her in pity and astonishment; but she would scare the extremists within the PIRA, Baader-Meinhoff and ISIS, let alone any ex-member of the RAF.

Think I’ll point her at the Board!

It weren’t a dig at you, far from it.

You were one of the outspoken with me at the earlier times. Now everyone who used to back the fan ownership sees it for what it is.

The 400 voting members though are still voting year on year, it won’t change they will always vote in line with what’s on offer. But 400 isn’t that hard to beat, joining the wst will give people who do support it the feeling that the support is growing, rather than people are joining to vote against.

It’s the equivalent of clapping for socialism in a South American country whilst everything fails, power to the people and all of that nonsense.

If you point out any flaw it’s will be ignored, or cast as negative.

I certainly wouldn't say those who are seeking change are extremist but I do think this forum has become a bit of an eco-system for those with an anti-trust stance.
None of the pro wst fans will listen to anyone, even facts which are true!

What do you want us to do, just nod along with the die hards.

Ownership of the club doesn’t matter, the support will still be received and with investment this club could wield huge support if the club is doing well fans will attend.

The old saying of the club was losing a million pound a year under private ownership BUT it’s losing 800k a year under this disaster whilst receiving money from transfers. Those books are going to be a minefield, and in the wash it will all come out.

I'm one who only joined for season ticket reduction I've not received an email for about 5 years. I've said on numerous occasions you cannot run a professional football club with volunteers it's pathetic.. I won't be renewing as for me the WST is finished.

I guess it partly depends on your definition of an extremist.

For me, posting a fan's address on a Facebook group is the act of an extremist.

Temporarily rather than permanently banning someone who did the above also seems pretty extreme to me; I'm used to forums where this would be an instant perma-ban.

Voting to approve minutes of a meeting which you know to be inaccurate is also fairly extremist in my opinion.

Criticising the way in which the club is run was certainly extremist in the view of Geoff Moss, and others may well agree with him. Personally, I don't think it is.

Nothing more than a cult follower with an agenda to desperately try and discredit anyone who has the audacity to not be happy with all the cover ups, lies and the fact the club is going backwards.

Just another ignorant and insulting post from someone who's agenda is clear. Keep his cult leaders in power at all costs.
How do you get from the post I made to this value judgement laden comment ? Perhaps I should take your reply as evidence of the very question (yes question, not statement) I raised in the original post?

This could have been an interesting debate, but the polarisation amongst some fans comes to the fore yet again
Sadly there are posters just waiting to reply negatively.if the argument fails then well comment on spelling, punctuation and God forbid predictive text!
As for the political accusations maybe some of us need to get out more. Why do you think the Chinese, Saudis etc have been buying premier clubs ? It's about media rights and influence. Sadly the uninformed comment about South America takes the biscuit. Please let's keep to what we know!
