With Dean indicating it will maybe start on 17th Aug and with only potentially 7 contacted players, isn't it time for some recruitment ? I tend to believe the early bird catches the worm, other than patience is a virtue . IE the better players get signed up quickly..

I don't see how football at our level can possibly resume at present.

How can we pay players without any income, or any date for our income stream resuming??

I completely understand.

It's just that sorting players seems like such small beer at the moment.

The early bird spends money the club does not have.

Things are going to nosedive to far greater depths than people realise.

The bonus is these PS games will all be behind closed doors - thankfully we don't have to waste anymore of our lives & money - even if some of us wanted to.

Chicken & egg scenario - to pay a football match we need a squad of players but as soon as we recruit we will be pissing money down the drain with no opportunity to bring in the coin - no ST sales - companies who normally sponsor will be tightening their budgets 'massively' - even the club shop appears to be about the last to re open.
