I am really sad to hear this news. Remembered Carl when I was at the same School as him. He was a big character then. Either his parents or grandparents owned the old sweet shop which was at the top of Grosvenor road. Was always in the shop when I passed or called in. He could tell you about any of the sweets! Also remember him driving the little green dragons. Would drop you off anywhere, including your house if he was going past it. Of course would see him at his second home; The Racecourse. He will be sadly missed by all met him.
My sympathy to all his family.
