[QUOTE=krux;2380061]There is no solid offer for the club because the bought has not made any effort to secure one or even make it clear we are open to offers.

Not disputing that..As i said elsewhere the ownership tends to become personal and precious to a select few..excluding outsiders and indeed even insiders.
This after the initial good work to take the club into the hands of the fans themselves. I agree , I've not seen any transparency or willing to open the door to offers

You got a reply to all your points ..
I'm no cult follower, hence I relinquished membership yet I still disagree with your viewpoint that seems to to think private investment is the answer to it all ? .I'm not sure what point you are making..You are anti supporters trust and want to be taken over by business men(probably not business women) ?
There has to be very good intentions and watertight to convince me that some compete rookies should come in again and seize control. We've been there before and we nearly lost the club altogether ....the endless list of parasites waiting in the wings to grab the assets of the Racecourse and club itself ...Cleeve, Hamilton, Moss, Guterman
Some short memories
Any investment should be part ownership if anything..as I mentioned about Swansea...Groves should become a community facility generating income and the Racecourse has to be used on a wider scale...concerts, seminars, events.
A stadium to hold a game every couple of weeks is no longer financially viable...This is how other clubs have left us behind and had the foresight to look outside the box

All this dragging up the past regarding investors. We were mega unlucky in the folks we chose to get control. There were out for themselves. Lesson learnt. But now we have NO assets, so nowt to lose. The vast majority of UK football clubs have private money in the mix. It’s always been that way.
We have had 10 years of a community club. It’s saved us but at the same time, we are presently going no where. It keeps us afloat my milking the same pool of fans. When outside investment is mentioned, we see the bitterness from the happy clappers. Harping on about the mistakes made in the past. That is history.
We must advance this club by seeking outside investment. The people in the “secret circle” that run MY club are obviously not going to be keen on this, as it means that on a Saturday they will be sitting next to me in stands, and not bouncing around the DirectorsBox in their best suit.
The bad times we had with “investors”, can be likened to a bad marriage. We have put our trust in people in the past and been betrayed. Look at statistics - that’s life. But just because we were shafted doesn’t mean that we don’t “get back on the horse” and look for more suitors. Life goes on. We cannot go through life with such bitterness and suspicions.
Spencer has done such a good job on those 400 or so Trust members who can be bothered to vote at meetings and keep him in power. Are they getting SugarPuffs for life!

Not in this club. A constipated board, who, despite purges, dont want to be evacuated. A right stink, if you ask me !

Its Brecks that now produce the new product. Sugar Puffs died a death years ago.

Prefer Mornflake myself. Fairly local , better taste and sponsor sports clubs in Cheshire.
