It seems obvious to me that the gamble is on covid restrictions being lifted, gate income and other match day income therefore coming into play.
The other side of that go in is covid restrictions hardening and even the 2600 paying customers being lost for some games.
The trust generally make close to 100k a year as well although this will be lower if numbers don't increase back to previous levels. Also there will be some sort of furlough payment due.

Assuming we are allowed a minimum of 2600 per game and there's no second wave this winter it looks like we can survive the season. Beyond that looks very precarious as we will likely have no cash reserves.

It is alarming but bear in mind most clubs in our league and some in higher divisions will be in the same situation. I'm concerned about Wrexham as we all are but this is an issue that goes way beyond our club. Plenty of clubs are at risk, and if there is a second wave plenty of clubs including in the league will go under sadly.

The majority of fans are too apathetic for this. If we go under, it will happen silently.

That would be the saddest thing. There was so much love and pride in the club when I moved up here 16 years ago. It's diminished so much these past couple of years.

WST really need to do something to reinvigorate that love, other than just asking for it to happen. Hopefully the appointment of a new Chair tomorrow will be a big step towards making that happen

There will be massive problems from Championship down but the Premier League clubs won't give up any TV rights money to help lower down the pyramid.

2600 (reduced capacity) X 23 (games) X £15 ( guesstimated average admission fee) comes to just short of £900000, we need to sell all those seats every game and if necessary increase some of the concession prices temporarily.

When was the last time we had an update on the UTST fundraiser? Does anyone know how much has been raised, what rewards are left etc?

The key to initiatives like that is keeping the momentum going, but the last post I can see on it is from last month.

I don't think we will struggle to fill the seats to be fair.

We were getting more than that for utter garbage last season!
