Fieldtownred - I took it in jest and it brought a smile so please don't feel guilty about a jokey response.

Moyn is right - I believe Pagl and Panda23 started the initiative to bring people together and be part of something for a relatively cheap price. You can have all of the large sponsors supporting initiatives but this was something by the fans. The members paying the kit sponsorship is not unique but it demonstrates the increased involvement.

The success has been down to those who have contributed and seen their name in adverts and the programme as part of redpassion. There is something unique in being part of this collective and Pagl was a keen advocate. Praise and thanks are certainly due to those who have contributed.

This year we are sponsoring 2 players and paying a considerable sum into the CofE. If our money helps a youngster to develop and be provided with an opportunity, it is something we should all be rightly proud of.

Onwards and upwards

Of course you are right and the failings you mention are for me unacceptable no matter the model.

I personally felt closer to the club in 2004-6 than I do now. Fan ownership has resulted in a divided fanbase due to the way those in charge have behaved. If you don't fall in line and blindly follow you're outcast. Highlighted by those who have publicly questioned the club having their workplace contacted etc
