You have been a brilliant contributor in the past Will. Thank you and hope you can be a part of this some time in the future.

I think last year raised about £1200 from memory so not that far off this year. Fan base might be fragmented but as the start of the season gets closer the majority pull together I feel.

I appreciate its probably said in jest but (sadly) these sort of initiatives will be much harder to sell if there are new and private owners on board. The new owners have indicated it seems that they are not simply investing but looking to take complete control.

You’re correct, it was said in jest.

Could you explain how it’ll be harder to sell shirt sponsorship under new owners? Most if not all clubs do it don’t they?

Its just my opinion and (for me) the same reason why attendances went up despite the club dropping to its lowest league position. I simply feel there is a trade-off which may be acceptable when you have private ownership as opposed to collective responsibility. I for one have felt much more a part of the club over the last 10 years than my previous 40 years as a supporter.
I cannot help but feel that something has failed which may be in the best interests of the club in terms of on pitch achievements but i was always proud to say we owned our club.
